In San Diego, where local movers charge about $200 an hour, thoseContinue reading “7 Hidden Moving Costs San Diego Movers Don’t Warn You About”

Honestly, most delivery-day problems have little to do with the container itself. They usually come from a vehicle parked in the wrong place, a driveway that’s narrower than anyone originally realized, or a tree branch nobody noticed until the truck arrived. A modest amount of preparation during the week before delivery resolves nearly all ofContinue reading “How to Prepare Your Property for a Portable Storage Container”

Quick answer: For a San Diego renovation, pick a mobile storage container based on how much of your home is affected (one box per room is a safe starting point), whether wood or metal fits your climate needs, and whether you’ll keep it in the driveway or send it to a facility. Compare flat deliveryContinue reading “How to Choose a Mobile Storage Unit in San Diego for a Home Renovation”

At Big Box Storage, we believe that being part of a community means showing up for the causes that matter most to the people who live there. That’s why we’re proud to announce a $500 donation to Doors of Change, a San Diego County nonprofit dedicated to helping unhoused youth build stable, independent futures, in support of their upcoming Concert ofContinue reading “Big Box Storage Contributes to Doors of Change’s Mission to End Youth Homelessness”

Big Box Storage delivers these unitsContinue reading “What Is a Portable Storage Unit and How Does It Work? “

Honestly, the best way to unpack after moving starts with a plan, not with ripping open the nearest box out of pure impatience.
